chris giarmo is an artist based in brooklyn with his cat, ponce.
he is a freelance web/print designer, choreographer, composer, dancer, film-maker, actor, performance-artist, video editor/designer, producer, programmer, writer, sound designer, and beginner japanese student. he is currently getting his masters of science in communication design at pratt institute and performing in big dance theater's "comme toujours, here i stand," which debuted in lyon, france in 2009. he is also a founding member of new york performance groups half straddle and the red terror squad and was the assistant choreographer for david byrne's most recent world tour.
