dear friends.
as some of you may know, i’m about to embark on a six week journey through euro-land (aka europe). the first two weeks of my stead will be spend in lyon, france performing with big dance theater in their new piece “comme tojours here i stand.” then it’s off to spain and various other points of interest on the continent.
i’ve been trying to decide where exactly to go, since trans-euro airfare is so super-cheap (see easyjet.com), and part of my reconnaissance has included just looking at cities in google maps’ satellite view.
amsterdam is definitely on my list of places to hit up, but i noticed something funny as i was revisiting the dyke-y city via the interweb. (see above).
the big blurry area to the right of NEMO (an awesome kid’s museum) is baffling to me. in street view it looks like a construction site. maybe i’ll go there and take some pics to let all you lovely readers get the inside scoop.
