yesterday i visited the largest gothic cathedral in the world, right here in good ole’ sevilla.
this place is mind-blowingly huge and ornate. i highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area…
and hey! christopher columbus is entombed here! that’s his mausoleum right there…
you can also climb the campanile (bell tower) which doesn’t have steps but a series of 34 ramps. my online guide said that this made it easier to climb than those with stairs. i disagree. here are some bells. they rang when i was up there, but it wasn’t deafening as one would expect.
you can also get 360º views of sevilla. nice.
